Things to Do Near The Daytona, Autograph Collection (Teen Edition)
Staying at The Daytona, Autograph Collection doesn’t just mean a cool hotel — it puts you right in the middle of one of the most walkable, activity-packed areas in Daytona Beach.
After multiple stays here with my family, I’ve gotten a pretty good feel for things to do near The Daytona, Autograph Collection that are actually worth it as a teen — not just tourist attractions, but places that are fun, easy to get to, and don’t feel forced.
This teen-focused guide covers things to do near the hotel, with a mix of walkable spots and short drives — all from a real teen perspective.
Since ONE Daytona has so many food options, I broke everything down into a separate teen-friendly guide that covers what’s walkable, what’s worth a short drive, and my personal favorites. If food planning is part of your trip, check out my Best Restaurants at ONE Daytona (Teen-Friendly Guide) for a full breakdown.
To make planning easier, I’ve added a custom Google Map below with the key places mentioned in this guide, including walkable spots, short drives, and must-see attractions near The Daytona, Autograph Collection. It’s a quick way to see what’s nearby and decide what fits your trip best.
Walkable Things to Do (No Car Needed)
One of the best parts of staying here is how much you can do without getting back in the car.
Victory Circle (Right Outside the Hotel)
Victory Circle is the heart of the ONE Daytona complex and hosts live music, car shows, seasonal events, and pop-up activities.
During one of our stays, we went to Bingo Bash, which somehow combined bingo and a dance party — and it ended up being way more fun than expected. A lot of these events are free, and you can grab food from nearby restaurants while you’re there.
If you get a balcony room, you might even catch some of the action from your room.
CMX Cinemas Daytona Luxury 12
Just steps from the hotel, this is not your average movie theater.
CMX offers:
- luxury electric recliners
- reserved seating
- premium formats like IMAX and Dolby Atmos
- full restaurant-style dining
It’s an easy option for a chill night without needing transportation.
GameTime Daytona
This place is a mega arcade + bowling alley, and it’s a huge win for teens.
We went on a Thursday and took advantage of their Play Your Way Thursday deal — five hours of timed play for $15. They run different promotions throughout the week, so it’s worth checking before you go.
Racing & Speed Experiences (Peak Daytona Energy)
If you’re staying here, leaning into the racing theme just makes sense.
Daytona International Speedway Tours
The Speedway is literally across the street — and the tours are honestly wild.
You ride an open-air tram onto the actual track, see the steep 31-degree banking, and visit areas most people never get to see. If you upgrade to the VIP Tour, it’s a deep dive into NASCAR history with access to the NASCAR Archives and Press Box.
My dad has done the VIP tour and still talks about it.
Motorsports Hall of Fame of America
Located inside the Speedway, this museum is packed with legendary race cars, boats, and even stunt planes that broke world records.
It’s basically a high-speed time capsule — and even if you’re not a hardcore racing fan, it’s still really cool to see up close.
K1 Speed Daytona (Short Drive)
If all the racing around you gives you the need for speed, this is the place.
K1 Speed offers fast electric go-karts that feel legit — loud, competitive, and perfect for teens who want a racing experience without needing a license. It’s only about a five-minute drive from the hotel.
Beach & Outdoor Spots (Easy Drives)
Daytona Beach (15-Minute Drive)
One of the wildest things about Daytona is that you can drive on the beach.
It never gets old pulling onto the sand in a truck and cruising along the shoreline. There are also tons of restaurants, shops, and activities along the main beach area.
Ponce Inlet
Ponce Inlet is a quieter, more laid-back spot south of Daytona.
You can:
- climb Florida’s tallest lighthouse (over 200 steps, worth it)
- visit the Marine Science Center
- watch surfers and dolphins near the jetty
It’s a great mix of chill and adventurous.
Bonus Experiences That Add to the Stay
Borrowed Bikes, Chairs & Umbrellas
Included in the resort fee, guests can borrow bicycles, beach chairs, and umbrellas — which makes spontaneous beach days way easier.
Bass Pro Shops (Yes, Really)
Not even for shopping — the giant fish tank alone makes it worth stopping by. That said, convincing your parents to grab snacks here is also part of the experience.
