Marriott Lounges, Clubs & Pantries – Teen Hotel Reviews

Lounges are like the bonus level of a hotel stay — from M Clubs and Concierge Lounges to Westin Club Lounges, Sheraton Club Lounges, and Delta Pantries. This page pulls together all the hotels I’ve stayed at where lounge or pantry access actually changed the experience, especially for teens and families.

Here you’ll find my teen-focused take on food, snacks, Wi-Fi, hangout space, and whether the lounge is worth unlocking with Bonvoy status or paid access.

Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel – Toronto, Ontario (M Club Lounge)

This M Club Lounge is easily one of the strongest I’ve experienced at a full-service Marriott. Large, bright, and well-staffed, it offered excellent evening hors d’oeuvres, fresh desserts, and one of the best lounge breakfasts I’ve had — plus access to the full restaurant buffet. Comfortable seating, easy outlet access, and attentive service make this a standout lounge near Toronto Pearson Airport.

Buffalo Marriott at LECOM HARBORCENTER – Buffalo, New York (M Club Lounge)

The M Club Lounge here was one of the highlights of the stay, with a bright space, great views, and a solid spread for both evening snacks and breakfast. Combined with top-tier Wi-Fi and an unbeatable Canalside location, this is a strong lounge option for Bonvoy Elite families traveling with teens.

Buffalo Marriott Niagara – Amherst, New York (M Club Lounge)

One of the biggest upgrades at this hotel is the new M Club lounge, and it shows. The space is bright and spacious with solid evening hors d’oeuvres (those egg rolls were elite), a full breakfast spread, and plenty of seating to actually relax or work. Easily one of the stronger M Club experiences I’ve had recently.

Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel – Erie, Pennsylvania (Sheraton Club Lounge)

A waterfront Sheraton with renovated bay-view rooms and a compact but solid Sheraton Club Lounge on the 8th floor. Evening service had hot items like potstickers and spring rolls plus charcuterie-style snacks and desserts, and breakfast offered a good spread even when it was packed. If you have lounge access, it’s a great way to fuel up before exploring Bayfront Landing or unwinding after a long drive.

Delta Hotels Toronto Airport & Conference Centre – Toronto, Ontario (Delta Pantry)

Instead of a classic lounge, this hotel has a 24/7 Delta Pantry that works like a self-serve mini lounge for eligible guests. My parents (covering for me while I was sick) said it was better stocked than some full lounges, with pastries, ice cream, soups, sandwiches, snacks, and drinks — plus great service recovery when the coffee machine went down. Perfect for tournament teams, airport overnights, and families who want flexible snack access instead of fixed lounge hours.

Pittsburgh Marriott City Center – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (M Club Lounge)

The M Club Lounge here was one of the bright spots in an otherwise tired downtown Marriott. The hotel itself had slow Wi-Fi and dated rooms, but the lounge delivered decent evening options (wings, salad, snacks, dessert) and a solid breakfast spread. If you need to be right by PPG Paints Arena, the lounge helps — but overall the property still isn’t Teen Travelz Approved.

The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit – Detroit, Michigan (Westin Club Lounge)

A historic Westin with city views, strong Wi-Fi, and a top-floor Westin Club Lounge that really adds to the experience. Evening food was good enough that I skipped dinner, breakfast was just as strong, and the lounge views were next-level — with amazing staff like Rochelle making it feel extra welcoming. If your family has lounge access, this is one of the best all-around lounge experiences I’ve had in a big city hotel.

Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley – Raleigh, North Carolina (Concierge Lounge)

This was a last-minute backup hotel that turned into a surprise win thanks to the Concierge Lounge. We originally planned to grab a quick snack and go out, but the evening spread turned into a full dinner, complete with an Oscar-night viewing hangout vibe. Breakfast was solid too, and with Crabtree Valley Mall right across the street, lounge access makes this property feel like a very good value stop.

Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe Hotel – Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec (Sheraton Club Lounge)

At this modern convention-connected Sheraton, the Sheraton Club Lounge is more about space than standout food. Breakfast was pretty basic during my visit, but the lounge still works well as a quiet spot to grab drinks or snacks, read, or chill away from the main lobby. For teens and families, it’s an extra living room in a hotel that’s all about relaxing, swimming, and resetting.

Kingston Marriott – Kingston, Ontario (M Club Lounge)

Brand-new and one of my top teen picks overall, the Kingston Marriott also has my favorite M Club Lounge so far. The space is bright, cozy, and packed with charging spots — perfect for homework, UNO battles, or just hanging out by the fireplace. During my stay, food service was handled in the restaurant, but even as a chill zone, this lounge sets a high bar for how teen-friendly a Marriott lounge can feel.

Charlotte Marriott SouthPark – Charlotte, North Carolina (M Club Lounge)

The M Club Lounge at Charlotte Marriott SouthPark is small but handy if you’re already staying for the location. It’s a good spot for snacks and drinks after a day at SouthPark Mall, but the real star of this hotel is the walkability to shopping and restaurants. Think of the lounge as a bonus rather than a main reason to book this property.

Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac – Pontiac, Michigan (Marriott Lounge)

A nostalgic favorite from my childhood trips, this Marriott’s lounge adds to its “reliable base for Michigan shopping” vibes. The space itself is classic, with drinks and snacks (including gummy bears that I always look forward to), and it’s a helpful perk before or after runs to Great Lakes Crossing, Somerset, and the nearby warehouse stores. Not perfect overall, but the lounge helps this stay feel a bit more special for frequent visitors.

How I Judge Lounges as a Teen Traveler

When I talk about lounges, M Clubs, Westin Club Lounges, Sheraton Club Lounges, or Delta Pantries, I’m looking at things teens actually use:

  • Wi-Fi & outlets – Can I join Discord, upload content, and charge everything without fighting over plugs?
  • Food that matters – Is it real-meal level or just one muffin and a banana?
  • Hangout space – Is there room to sit as a family, play cards, or chill between activities?
  • Teen-friendly vibe – Do I feel like I belong there, or like I’m crashing a space only meant for business travelers?

As I review more hotels with lounges and pantries, I’ll keep updating this hub so you can quickly find the properties where that extra access makes your stay feel like a full upgrade.
