Revisiting a hotel you already love is risky — expectations are higher, details stand out more, and it’s harder to be impressed twice. But this Daytona Autograph Collection hotel review only confirmed why The Daytona, Autograph Collection continues to be one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
This teen hotel review and revisit is based on my second-ever revisit video and my family’s third stay at this Autograph Collection hotel in Daytona Beach. We spent three nights here during our Summer 2025 road trip, which gave me the chance to notice things I missed in my very first hotel review — from tech setup and room details to food, pool vibes, and what it’s really like staying here longer than one night.
If you’ve seen my original review, this revisit goes deeper, adds new insights, and reflects how much I’ve grown as a reviewer since that very first video.
The Daytona Autograph Collection Location & First Impressions
The Daytona, Autograph Collection is located directly across from Daytona International Speedway and sits inside the ONE Daytona entertainment complex. Getting to the Speedway is easy — it’s either a short walk across the street or over the pedestrian bridge.
If you’re a race fan, this hotel is hard to beat. The racing theme starts immediately, with a real NASCAR car parked outside the entrance.
We arrived mid-afternoon after a short drive from Titusville, Florida. Pulling up front, there were plenty of luggage carts available — always appreciated on a long road trip. The main lobby is open and welcoming, with seating and a large mural, and it also connects to the outdoor pool and fitness center.
Check-in happens on the second floor, and stepping off the elevator feels like an experience on its own — another full-size NASCAR car sits right in front of the reception desk. The space is bright, open, and filled with racing artifacts, art, and memorabilia.
Not much has changed since my first stay — and that’s a good thing.
The Room at The Daytona Autograph Collection
We originally booked a Two Queen Guest Room, but were upgraded to a Two Queen Guest Room with a Sofa Bed. The room was bright, spacious, and clean, with views overlooking Victory Circle and the Speedway.
Racing details were everywhere, but done subtly — from the artwork to the notepads designed like speeding tickets asking how far under the speed limit you were going. It’s a small touch, but one of my favorites.
The beds were super comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets near the bed, including USB ports. My sister tested the pull-out sofa bed and said it was surprisingly comfortable — better than most she’s tried at other hotels.
The bathroom was a standout: spacious, well-designed, and featuring an excellent shower with strong water pressure. The amenities were Molton Brown, which honestly feels like a luxury upgrade. Everything smells way more expensive than regular hotel soap.
Just to be clear — I’m not sponsored by Molton Brown.
But if anyone from Molton Brown is watching… my dad would absolutely appreciate it.
Connections & Tech Setup
The internet was easy to connect to on all my devices — laptop, phone, iPad, and Nintendo Switch. The connection was solid, and I was able to game and chat without any lag issues.
I track real hotel Wi-Fi performance across all my stays, so if you’re curious how this one compares, I keep detailed speed tests, rankings, and screenshots on my Hotel Wi-Fi Speed Leaderboard.
Connecting my Nintendo Switch to the TV was super easy thanks to a swing-out TV mount. HDMI access was simple, and switching inputs was straightforward.
One thing to note: there were only two outlets near the desk area that had to be shared between gaming and charging. Thankfully, my Switch adapter cable is long — and I always travel with a power bar, which made it a non-issue.
Pool Vibes & Fitness at The Daytona Autograph Collection
The outdoor pool area here is one of my favorites. The pool is a good size, with a separate hot tub, loungers, umbrellas, and built-in seating areas inside the pool itself. The max depth is around five feet, making it perfect for relaxing rather than swimming laps.
There are also three cabanas available for rent, and just beside the pool is a large seating area surrounding a fire pit — a great place to hang out in the evening.
The fitness center is large, open, and overlooks the pool. It includes treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, a multigym, weight benches, free weights, and kettlebells, with plenty of room to move around comfortably.
Food & Dining
On property, you’ll find Blue Flame Restaurant & Bar, and the theming here is on another level.
Cars, motorcycles, and vintage racing details are built into the space. Menus look like car manuals, and the server station is an actual rolling toolbox. There’s also a massive outdoor terrace overlooking ONE Daytona — and on past stays, we’ve even watched rocket launches from here.
We had dinner here one night and it was excellent.
My dad ordered the Philly cheesesteak, served inside a toolbox.
I had the Blue Flame Nachos, layered inside an oil can — a total surprise and a really good one.
We also ordered:
- Magic Mile Track Pie
- Strawberry Hill Track Pie
Breakfast was handled by my parents (sleep matters), and they said it was excellent — especially the house-made griddled banana bread.
Service in both the restaurant and bar has been consistently great on every stay.
What’s Around the Hotel
One of the biggest strengths of this hotel is how much is nearby — much of it walkable.
Inside ONE Daytona, you’ll find:

Buc-ee’s is about a 15-minute drive — and yes, we stopped more than once.
Since ONE Daytona has so many food options, I broke everything down into a separate teen-friendly restaurant guide — including what’s walkable, what’s worth a short drive, and my personal favorites.

This was definitely another legendary stay. While it’s not directly on the beach, the trade-off is easy walkable access to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and the Speedway — which honestly makes exploring way easier if staying beachfront isn’t a must.
I still hope one day I’ll get to stay here during a real NASCAR race or major racing event.
