Pennsylvania Hotel Reviews
Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel
Erie’s first waterfront hotel impressed me with bright, newly renovated rooms, real bay views, and one of the best locations in Pennsylvania for teens and families. Wi-Fi was solid for everyday use, console setup was easy, and the pool, gym, waterfront dining, and Sheraton Club Lounge made this a standout way to end my Summer 2025 road trip.
Courtyard Erie Bayfront
The Courtyard Erie Bayfront totally surprised me with its outdoor infinity pool overlooking Presque Isle Bay. Add in solid Wi-Fi, easy Nintendo Switch setup, and walkable restaurants, and you’ve got a Courtyard that feels way more like a resort. Perfect for a road trip stop or a full weekend getaway.
Pittsburgh Marriott City Center
This full-service Marriott has a great downtown location right next to PPG Paints Arena. The staff were awesome and the lounge food was solid, but the rooms felt dated, the Wi-Fi was slow, and the gym was musty. For hockey fans, it’s super convenient. For everyone else, there are better options nearby.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington Casino Area
This Fairfield stands out for its unique room layout—two king beds in one room! Add in friendly staff, decent Wi-Fi, and an on-site restaurant, and it’s a reliable stopover. Bonus: it’s less than five minutes from Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh (no sales tax on clothes in Pennsylvania!).
Fairfield Inn & Suites Slippery Rock
This hotel delivered everything you’d want on a road trip stop: friendly staff, clean rooms, strong Wi-Fi, and a chill lobby space. The indoor pool and hot tub looked nice, and breakfast was way better than expected. It’s also close to Grove City Premium Outlets, making it a perfect shopping stopover.
