Courtyard by Marriott teen reviews are where I break down Courtyard hotel stays from a teen perspective — including Wi-Fi speeds, Nintendo Switch setup, room comfort, pool vibes, gym setup, The Bistro, nearby food, and whether each property actually works for families, road trips, city stays, and quick overnight stops.

Courtyard by Marriott can be a really practical hotel brand for travel days. Most locations are built around simple rooms, lobby hangout space, business-friendly layouts, gyms, and The Bistro instead of free breakfast. But every Courtyard is different. Some have awesome pools, walkable locations, and easy gaming setups, while others feel dated or have slow Wi-Fi.

This page brings together all of my Courtyard by Marriott teen reviews in one place so you can compare the properties I’ve stayed at, see which ones stood out, and find the best Courtyard stays for teen travelers and families.

Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Reviews

Courtyard Bridgeport Clarksburg – Bridgeport, West Virginia

A clean and spacious overnight stop with friendly check-in and an easy location right off the highway. The room was comfortable and larger than expected, but the hotel’s older design and extremely slow Wi-Fi made the stay tough for gaming, streaming, and schoolwork. The indoor pool and gym were basic, and the outdoor patio was a nice surprise, though some furniture showed wear. With walkable food options nearby, it’s convenient — but overall, this Courtyard needs updates before it earns a teen-friendly stamp of approval.

Courtyard Erie Bayfront – Erie, Pennsylvania

Resort vibes on the water with an outdoor infinity pool, indoor pool/hot tub, and walkable restaurants. Wi-Fi and console hookup were easy; I just wished for a bigger TV and more outlets.

Courtyard Detroit Warren – Warren, Michigan

Friendly staff and an active pool, but this property feels dated. Slow check-in, limited outlets, and a long trek to the lone elevator. Wi-Fi was fine, but overall this one was not Teen Travelz Approved.

Courtyard Kingston Hwy 401/Division – Kingston, Ontario

A reliable road-trip stop with solid Wi-Fi, easy Nintendo Switch hookup, and a weekend waterslide at the pool. Rooms are clean but starting to show age, and Landmark Cinemas across the street is a win.

Courtyard Alexandria Old Town/Southwest – Alexandria, Virginia

Best for D.C. access, with the Eisenhower Metro only about a 5-minute walk away. The older TV setup was actually good for console hookup, but the hotel has no pool and the bathroom was tiny. Wi-Fi worked well, and having Wegmans nearby made meals way easier.

Courtyard Montréal Brossard – Brossard, Québec

Huge suite upgrade, warm indoor pool, and tons of food and shopping nearby at Solar Uniquartier and DIX30. Wi-Fi speed was the weak spot, but the Nintendo Switch setup was plug-and-play with outlets and USB access right at the TV.
