Hometown Ontario Hotel Series

Sometimes the best trips aren’t the farthest ones.

They’re right here at home.

Welcome to my Hometown Ontario Hotel Series — a project where I’m exploring hotels across Ontario from a teen’s perspective, focusing on what actually matters: Wi-Fi speeds, gaming setup, pool vibes, location, and the overall experience.

Some of these hotels are brand new.
Some are longtime staples.
And some are places I’ve passed by for years — but never truly experienced until now.

This series is about taking a closer look at Ontario hotels and answering one simple question:

👉 Are they actually worth it for teens and families?

This Hometown Ontario Hotel Series page will continue to grow as I visit more hotels across the province — from Toronto airport stays to downtown city hotels and road trip stopovers.

Hotels Featured in the Hometown Ontario Hotel Series

Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel – Toronto, Ontario

One of the most unique airport hotel stays I’ve had.

Canada’s first Marriott still delivers — with renovated rooms, a glass-covered pool atrium, and one of the best M Club experiences I’ve had. It’s not just a place to stay near YYZ… it’s a place to reset after a travel day.

Sheraton Hamilton Hotel – Hamilton, Ontario

This is what a connected downtown hotel should feel like.

Right in the heart of Hamilton and directly linked to Jackson Square, this hotel makes everything easy — food, events, shopping, and more. Add in strong Wi-Fi and a great lounge, and it becomes a really well-rounded stay.

Aloft Vaughan Mills – Vaughan, Ontario

A location-driven stay with a completely different vibe from a typical hotel.

Steps from Vaughan Mills and minutes from Canada’s Wonderland, this Aloft stands out with its social lobby, solid pool setup, and one of the easiest access points to food and entertainment I’ve seen. It’s not about luxury — it’s about location, convenience, and a fun, modern feel.

The Westin Toronto Airport – Toronto, Ontario

A calm, comfortable airport stay that’s all about sleep quality and consistency.

Located just minutes from Toronto Pearson, this Westin stands out for its quiet rooms, reliable Wi-Fi, and one of the best sleep experiences I’ve had thanks to the Westin Heavenly Bed. It’s not about location — it’s about how easy the stay feels.

🚧 Coming Soon – Hotels I’ve Already Filmed

This is where things get exciting.

To make this series even easier to follow, I’ve created a custom Google Map showing all the hotels featured in this series — plus what’s nearby.

This includes:

Why the Hometown Ontario Hotel Series Matters

There are a lot of hotel reviews out there.

But most of them aren’t from a teen perspective.

This series is different.

It’s about:

  • Real Wi-Fi testing
  • Real gaming setup experiences
  • Real family travel situations
  • And honest opinions — no filters

And the best part?

This is just the beginning.

Follow the Journey

I’ll be adding new Ontario hotel reviews regularly as this series grows.
